House “U”
House U is a private project done for a close friend and his future family in the metropolitan area of Bucharest. They requested a simple house that would open to the garden and benefit from the southern light. The opened floor-plan represents a step forward from the typology of communist apartments improving the atmosphere and communication within the family. The upper terrace offers them privacy and a great view towards the nearby forest. This project is now under construction and is one of the first personal commissions received as an architect.

Upper floor is extruded to create a terrace where to enjoy the view to the forest
Cutting the corner of the Living room , facilitates visibility and connection with the terrace and with the corner of the property where a wood deck for entertaining is to be built
